Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born South London, England into a family of mixed blood. Her father and mother have both been English. Her family was on the southern part of London Council Estate, and then attended The Brit School aged 14. She was a student of acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. While attending the academy, she appeared in a number of stage productions such as King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career with a film titled Storm Damage. She has appeared as guest for Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. In the following film, she played Elisha on a BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie in six episodes each of Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008, she got Bambi's part on the ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She appeared in two series, 2 and 3. Madekwe was a part of the comedy How to Lose Friends and alienate others (2008). She was also as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written directed by David Watson.
Madekwe was a part of Ashley Davenport on ABC's Drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode series aired for just the duration of two weeks The CW and then it was cancelled. She was cast in February 2011 in the role of Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. In late May 2013, it was revealed that Madekwe, who played a regular role in the two previous seasons, was to leave the series with a guest appearance on the first episode of the season's new episode. Between 2014 and 2016, Madekwe was a star as Tituba the television series Salem. Madekwe and her partner for many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and also played a part with her on the show Salem.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress, who was born into a big family. She was born to Roy and Patty Leggat. Her parents were Roy and Patty as well as her four brothers: Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's athletic brothers played baseball in summer as well as hockey in winter. Ashley did not walk; instead, she would dance. When she was two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. Ashley became a dancer since that time. Ashley performed in competitive ballet, jazz and tap in high divisions. All of the major dance festivals, like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, have awarded her the title "top individualist".
