Alison Krauss, born in Decatur in Illinois on July 23, 1971, is a well-known and well-off Country Singer. LeAnnekymes and she were both among the newest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass and country musician as well as singer. Her first job was in the music business in the early years of her life. When she was 10, she won local competitions and made her debut album. She signed with Rounder Records in 1985 and released her first single album, a solo one in the year 1987. The album was also a part of the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she is still performing. In 1989, she released her first solo album her debut solo album debuted in conjunction with the band.
